The event of the cutting of the New Year's cake of the Association of Greek Defence Manufacturers (ACDM) was an important meeting point for many institutions and professionals of the Greek Defence Industry such as businessmen, representatives of institutions and political parties, ambassadors, diplomats from various countries, as well as the military leadership of the Armed Forces. Their presence highlights the international dimension of developments in the defence sector and underlines the importance of international cooperation for the strengthening of the country's defence industry.
The Association of Greek Defence Manufacturers (Hellenic Defence Manufacturers Association) has set a clear and comprehensive strategic plan for the coming year, with objectives that are specific, measurable, achievable and time-bound, noted Hellenic Defence Manufacturers Association President Tasos Rozolis.
In particular, the central objective is to eliminate disincentives that hinder the development and modernisation of the sector, and replace them with strong incentives that will promote innovation and capacity building. The aim is to strengthen the Greek Armed Forces, which will result in increasing Greece's strength and strategic position on the international defence map. Through these targeted actions, the FCCA seeks to contribute to the development of a more dynamic and modern defence sector, which will support national security and strengthen the country's geopolitical position.
